What does the treatment consist of?

The UCO (Used Cooking Oil) collected nationally, is transported to our modern vegetable oil treatment plant. The purpose of the treatment is to clean and purify the UCO, eliminating the undesirable components generated by its use.

Which are the steps of the treatment?

1- The UCO goes through a rigorous sampling, we realize tests and verify its quality before we download and store it in special tanks.

2- After that, the UCO is taken to the plant, where it goes through several processes: including pumping, centrifugation, conversion, absorption, dosage and mixing to, finally, be analyzed in the lab to conclude the treatment process.

3- The UCO is ready to be used in 2G Bioenergy production (2nd Generation Bioenergy).
